Homebound Meal Program
On Saturdays, Circle U delivers approximately 65 meals to homebound individuals throughout the community. A hot meal along with sandwiches and healthy snacks are also included.
This would not be possible without the wonderful volunteers from the following churches who deliver the meals on a weekly basis:
First English Lutheran Church, First Baptist Church, Richmond Catholic Community, Fairview Baptist Church, Christ Presbyterian Church, Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Fellowship Church, Crosspoint Church, & Seventh Day Adventist Church
NOTE: AT THE PRESENT TIME WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE REQUETS!
Homebound meals are delivered to each member of the household. In order to receive a meal, you only need to fill out the form 1 time. After filling out the form, you will be placed on the list to receive meals every week (Saturday). Please do not fill out the form multiple times.
The criteria for homebound deliveries includes the following:
70 years of age and older, no more than three meals per household
Thursday is the deadline to sign up for meal delivery for the following Saturday (10 days)
Homebound means absolutely no resident is able to leave your home to obtain food!
